The best thing to do to protect yourself is to lift weights or do strength training exercises. If you work out too much, back injuries can also occur. Never read too much weight! Always work out using the right amount in the proper style for each exercise.

 

One crucial cause of back pain to be on the lookout for is if you develop a kidney ailment. Since the kidneys are located in the region of your lower back - right about waist level - a kidney infection or kidney stones you will normally result in pain in this region. It’s not uncommon to also have pain in your lower abdomen when you experience kidney problems, and you may also experience pain when you urinate. If you’re having any symptoms of this nature, it’s important to see a doctor as soon as possible. If your doctor suspects a kidney ailment, he can do testing to find out for sure. Such tests as an ultrasound or urinalysis might be all that he needs. Don’t hesitate to have any lower back pain checked by your medical team if you suspect a kidney disorder. However, be aware that not all low back pain is kidney related. Back pain can be a very disruptive force in your life, in some cases making it hard to even get out of bed. You will more easily be able to prevent back pain from returning if you have been able to find out the root cause of your pain. Your first concern, naturally, is to successfully treat any pre-existing health problem that could be a causative factor in your back pain. Alternatively, be aware of what you are doing in your life that may be contributing to your back pain.
